  1. Sounds like an awsome time I wish I could have been there. Shame I havn't met many other bloggers yet as I think it would be quite interesting. By the way thanks for the post about Gueze and goats cheese, it gave me ideas for my beer and cheese evening. A recent testing of goats cheese with Belgian Wit worked well and apparently Bier de guard and various funky Belgians work well with it.

  2. Souns fun - Dominic and Colin tried to persuade me to come along but I went to NWAF instead - very late in the day. The previous night, after quite a long session at NWAF, two of us decided that it would be a good idea to share a bottle of Marble Special as a night cap. Very Bad Idea as it turned out (or so my head and stomach told me the next day).

Got to try the new Decadence Frombozen - fantastic stuff - a combination of sharp fruit and rich stout. Mmmm. Not tried the Kriek (cherries and Oud Beersel Gueuze in that one) yet - perhaps next weekend. You must get these. But I guess you knew that anyway!

  3. Rob, make sure you get out to the next one, wherever and whenever it is!

John, shame you couldn't make it, I expect there will be one in Manchester soon, maybe the next one. And how was the Marble Special? I'm taking one to the US with me to share.

I will do my best to get the other Decadences, they sound amazing (although it was Dominic telling me how good they are!)
